Masterclass: Cutting out, composing and painting

Participants will create a composition by using recycled paper and materials. They will play with textures and shapes, and will solve perspective issues by using different colors. This exercise will unfold their creativity in front of a blank canvas and inspire them for creating a vibrant and sound art piece. The class will include one-on-one discussions with the artist and group critiques.

 

May 7    10 am – 1 pm: Class

                1 pm – 2 pm: Lunch

                 2 pm – 5 pm: Class

 

Registration deadline: Open until all seats are full

Max # of students: 8

Level: Intermediate/Advanced

Supply list: Magazines or papers, scissors, glue, drawing pad, acrylic paint, brushes, easel and two 20×16 canvases.
